Executive Bios

Robert Quaco
Mr. Quaco founded Q-Real Estate Partners, LLC during 2006. Mr. Quaco's details driven approach to managing projects has been honed over a 30 year career during which time he has developed an extensive network of relationships throughout the finance, real estate and construction industries.

Mr. Quaco was a Partner and Executive Vice President of The Athena Group, LLC. At Athena, Mr. Quaco was integral in creating the firm's first real estate fund. He was primarily responsible for sourcing and closing real estate investment opportunities throughout the Northeast and in southern Florida.

Mr. Quaco received his real estate investment and analysis training as an analyst in the Real Estate Products Group of CS First Boston Corp, where he worked on a number of varying assignments including REIT advisory, agency securitization and principal transactions.

From 2003 through 2010, Mr. Quaco was an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Columbia University in the Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation.

Mr. Quaco graduated from the University of Chicago.

Brian Pinneo
Brian Pinneo started in real estate development as a project manager in 1998 working for several small developers in Tribeca until he met Robert Quaco and began working for Q-Real Estate Partners, LLC in 2006. Mr. Pinneo was responsible for managing tax abatement programs, condo plan coordination, construction requisitions and other aspects of ownership development. Beginning in 2014, Mr. Pinneo and Mr. Quaco with another partner formed RGB Partners LLC, a general contracting firm and have completed several projects under that umbrella including the recent new construction building at 493 Myrtle Avenue, Brooklyn.

In Mr. Pinneo’s free time, he wrote a construction project management software package to track deliverables, among other things, that the company uses to this day. The software has helped to streamline communication and approvals among the design professionals and contractor, thereby freeing up time to work on problem solving construction issues that inevitably present themselves.

Mr. Pinneo received an MBA from the University of Hartford.
